/801 xerofire®HP Clear Fire Retardant Basecoat

Two-pack waterborne fire retardant basecoat designed to retard the propagation and spread of fire while offering exceptional clarity, ideal for natural timbers and veneers. This single-coat only product is a higher performing, second generation version of our /800 xerofire® Basecoat, developed to reduce application time. 

xerofire®HP Clear System requires only a single coat isolator, xerofire®HP Clear Fire Retardant Basecoat and xerofire® Clear Topcoat, saving considerable time and material.

xerofire® Fire Retardant system from Morrells is a class-leading system, providing a high quality, furniture grade finish with exceptional clarity and EN Euro Classification B-s1,d0, the best possible Euro reaction to fire performance rating for a sytem of this type.

A Statement of Supply is issued with each job relevant to the surface area to be coated and the quantity of product supplied.

1. Apply 1 coat of xerofire® Isolator
2. Denib with 320g
3. Apply 1 coat of mixed/reacted xerofire® Basecoat
4. Lightly denib with 320/400g sandpaper
5. Apply 1 coat of xerofire® Clear Topcoat (no more than 1 coat is required)
