This state-of-the-art wood warming waterborne floor sealer and primer is formulated to enhance the natural appearance and grain of all types of wooden flooring. Use before overcoating with induro® XL1, XL2, NATRO%, XLA or SPORT waterborne flooring lacquers for an extremely strong but flexible varnish with excellent clarity and strong chemical and mechanical resistance. Unlike other waterborne floor sealers available this product does not require the addition of an extra crosslinking additive.
If sealing a particularly oily or waxy wood such as tropical hardwoods, use induro® ISO Seal shellac-based sealer.
Floor Staining
Morrells standard Light Fast range of stains give excellent grain definition and overall colour. Due to this range being spirit based (fast drying), care should be taken on application not to stain too large an area at once as this could lead to a patchy appearance once the stain is dry.
It is important to remove as much excess floor stain as possible so as not to create a film as this could result in poor adhesion of subsequent coats of floor lacquer.
Stains intended for other uses i.e. decking, fencing, garden furniture etc should not be considered for floors as these will contain water-repelling properties,…
This product is formulated from quality shellacs and alcohol to produce a fast drying floor sealer and primer with excellent clarity. Specifically designed for use on timbers such as tropical hardwoods to seal in and isolate contaminants such as oils and waxes that would cause problems with application, drying and finish of induro® Floor Lacquers.
This product is particularly suitable for use on refurbished flooring, as it will seal any remaining contaminants in the substrate which may cause application, appearance and drying problems.
Use prior to coating with induro XL1 or XL2 flooring lacquers. If a waterborne sealer for non-tropical wood is required, use induro GP Floor Sealer and Primer.
A fully crosslinked single-pack polyurethane clear flooring lacquer with excellent clarity and non-yellowing properties. As induro® XL1 floor lacquer comes fully crosslinked, there are no pot-life limitations. This waterborne self-levelling varnish is ready for use straight from the can and is resistant to abrasion, scuffs and spillage. XL1 has been designed to be used on all solid and engineered wood flooring with light to high traffic. This product is in scope of 2004/42/EC.
